In November 2018 I started my new job as Junior Manager Online Editor Scandinavia by Sixt rent a car. It’s the coolest job title I’ve ever had, but what does it entail? Read on to know more.
Sixt rent a car is the oldest car rental company (founded in 1912) in Germany, and today it’s known all over the world. You can rent a car by Sixt on most of the world’s continents, and they are also present in Scandinavia.
My job entails filling the web sites of the Scandinavian countries with content, i.e. Norway, Denmark, Finland and Sweden. No content, no customers! Thus my colleagues and I have to make sure no page is left to the wind. In my case I order texts, try to make sure they are correct, and upload the texts to their designated pages.
Except for the Sixt car rentals’ web pages there are a number of other sites to take care of. The biggest of my assignments is to fill the Swedish blog Sixt Magazine with interesting articles and posts. I both write myself and translate articles already written by present and former colleagues.
